Haru Miura
The Miura family was once a prestigious Pure Blooded family, witches and wizards all down the line. Or at least, that's how it looks to the outside world. The oldest son from the Miura family secluded his family from the public eye when he got married, and no one is sure what became of him. Rumors have been spread that he married a muggle.

These rumors are false however. The oldest son from the Miura family married into another Pure Blooded family, moved in with his wife and her sister. The sister was a squib. The Thompsan familys greatest secret was that their eldest daughter was a squib. The rest of the family was witches and wizards, but for some reason, their oldest daughter had no magical powers. The squib is Haru's aunt, The oldest son from the Miura family is Haru's father, and the Squib's younger sister is Haru's mother.

However, secluding himself from his family was simply not acceptable, and Mr. Miura eventually moved back to Canada, a job at a wizarding school there awaiting him. Haru lived in bliss of her parents strained long-distance relationship as a child, growing up under the watchful eyes of her grandparents, aunt and mother. However, her mother and grandparent's often had work, so Haru was mainly raised by her Auntie Fai. She was taught magical history and all sorts of other subjects from the very start, as if her parents could find a way to force the magic into her, and prevent her from becoming like her Aunt. She grew up to be a very intelligent little girl, though once she was amongst her peers, she had a tendency to make a fool of herself. People always liked the idiot. So, if she did that, people would like her.

Time spent with a squib gave her a chance to experience things that most wizarding children didn't see. Her Auntie Fai liked to take her to places like zoos, carnivals, amusement parks, playgrounds, fantastic places filled with colors and muggles, that made Haru's eyes twinkle with excitement as a while. With her aunt, she also learnt acceptance. Even if a person had no magical powers, they still deserved to be loved. Despite knowing more about muggle culture than the rest of her pure-blooded class mates, she has shown herself as still being clueless to it on many occurances. Such as the summer before her fifth year, when she burnt down the muggle neighbor's kitchen. She had first put metal forks in the microwave, blowing that up, so she decided to try and use the stove. Thinking the food would tend to itself, she simply walked away from it. Not much else to say from there.

When Haru got to school, her parents divorced, not being able to handle a long distance relationship. Haru somewhat resents her father for this, as she's always with her mother (Her mother and her are extremely alike, the only difference is her mother looks more mature. They share near-identical personalities), and her father doesn't come to see her. Also, when she got her letter to hogwarts, her aunt became rather bitter, and has been picking on Haru a bit since, just because she's jealous.
